Every stone has unique qualities of which provide the appeal of each of Appalachian Secrets'
creations.  A key component of the natural beauty of stone is imparted by the inherent variation
or character found within the material and is exactly what provides the impetus
and ultimately the inspiration for design.  

As might be expected, the character, shade and appearance of natural materials varies from
different source localities just as variation occurs throughout the entirety of a source
mineral deposit.  The material is hand graded to best accommodate for these variations.
Appalachian Secrets does not use glass, acrylic, plastic or any other manufactured
material to substitute as natural stone.  All materials are as labeled.

We are always looking for new varieties of stones and gems to design new and exciting pieces.
In order to accomplish this most efficiently, prospecting for new material has become the status
quo for Appalachian Secrets and our latest finds include the discovery of an entirely new deposit
of Tennessee Agate and Jasper completely unknown to the gem trade. Other recent finds include
a very clear form of smokey quartz with red feldspar inclusions with periodic epidote inclusions,
some incredibly rich colored red quartzite that polishes out incredibly smooth with no hint of a
grain at all and a very diverse collection of feldspar and other stone combinations. Some of
the more unique finds include agate and feldspar combinations as well as agate, feldspar
and quartzite combinations. We also offer mineral specimens from feldspar
pegmatites of the East Tennessee and Western North Carolina localities.

Until further notice, Appalachian Secrets will be offering free Priority Mail shipping
within the continental United States for all orders totalling $75 or more. For orders under
$75, we offer $5 Priority Mail shipping within the continental United States.
Wholesale orders are not eligible for free shipping.

Appalachian Secrets will ship your order the same day if possible or within one working day.
Every possible effort will be made in order to accommodate customer requests and stated
delivery times. All items are inspected before shipment and appropriately packed. We do
ship world-wide and it is necessary for the international buyer to contact us in order to
