This necklace is made from a very interesting mineral known as magnesite or more commonly as
white turquoise. Although there is no such thing as truly white turquoise, the name certainly does
do justice as these stones approximate the appearance of nice turquoise - they're just not blue.
The necklace above is made of a brown and purple agate, magnesite or white turquoise,
desert landscape jasper and copper Bali beads acentuated with small sterling silver
rounds and a copper toggle closure. A completely handsome and eye-catching
piece that matches an amazing amount of colors.
